Horse Language

A sound horse is a mentally stable horse, where the “Frame of Body = Frame of Mind”

A horse that is psychologically and emotionally balanced is only achieved once the horse is balanced mentally, physically, and spiritually.

True communication is achieved using gentle and effective ways to understand horses and speak their language. These ways derive from understanding natural horse psychology and body language, interpreting that information, and incorporating it through our body language in a way they understand. Horses communicate constantly with one another using their body language via subtle cues and signs another horse in the herd would pick up on. In nature, a horse would approach or retreat depending on the cues the other horse would give; inviting into its space, or pushing away.

When we authentically earn respect, trust, focus, and willingness from horses, they then express their relief and appreciation while exhibiting a calm and collected posture with curled tails, relaxed ears, and soft eyes. This happens once the horse releases endorphins, generating a "feel good" hormone during training and handling.

This unique program includes training the horse and also providing the opportunity to train/desensitize the owner/handler to use horse language to communicate correctly using the same techniques and then can adapt them to their own riding/training discipline.
